IMS GIOTTO is looking for a Purchasing Department Employee.

Job description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an employee in the Purchasing Department who will be responsible for the correct flow of supplies, reporting directly to the head of the Purchasing Department.

Main tasks include:

• Direct contact with suppliers;
• Order entry and delivery scheduling;
• Verifying compliance with agreed terms and delivery dates;
• Handling any issues and/or follow-up.

After an appropriate training and mentoring period, the candidate will also assist colleagues in scouting suppliers and actively participate in the negotiation phase.

Experience and Skills

Required qualifications:

• Degree in accounting or administrative/business fields (preferred);
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge of AS400 is an advantage but not required;
• Fluent in English (written and spoken);
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
• Precision, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.
